[tech/trance] Takkra pres. DIMLICHT - Vuurdoop (sample 320kb/s ..2 mins)

here's a pretty exciting doodle this thing was a b*tch to mix but hell i was partying while producing it ! i really wonder what you guys think! it won't take to much of your time and reviews are always returned!

[ clickie v.1 ]

*updated*
[ clickie v.2 ]

might be nice to compare the development.

I used some fx and cliche stuff like snare rolls.. I never made snarerolls before, just not quite my style, so it might sound a little strange .

ps.

just for teh lulz
[ clickie 3 ]
a collection of some of my most recent doodles

Boy was i happy to see a tech trance production!

and on topic...

the track starts a bit dull, only drums... and kinda the regular stuff... i really dont like those offbeat snare, i just dont dig that stuff... next up, the transitions... you need to really work on that part, a track can be really good or really bad just by a good or bad transitions between sounds and parts, add crashes, fxes and such to spice up your stuff... the main lead is not punchy enough it sits too much on the highs... too litlle on the lows, i think you should add some distortion or something to it, sounds a bit dull IMO... the breakdown is fair, try giving the chords a more exisiting feel to them, they feel like made in a day... and a good chord progression may take weeks to get just right...

i really hope to see other tech trance stuff, i love it, its gold... and remember all of the above is just my opinion, and dont overrate the mixing part, first have a great sound of synths and basses, etc... then think about the mix.

cheers, xetro.

It is really hard where you want to take this tune with essentially only a 1 minute part of "semi" full track.

love the ideas you got in this tune, really do something about the intro though it sounds to plain. maybe have a more electro/trancy arp in the background of the melody. the chords are cool i must say, maybe edit the same pianoroll with some higher octaves so that the chord progression will sound a bit more in balance. your tracks always feel like they are just about 70/80% finished.. dont be afraid of spending to much time on a tune, i noticed quite a lot of people try and get there song done the same day they start it.. take your time with it and you will hear a big improvement. keep it up.

Hey all, thanks for listening !

Vortex im glad to see your honest opinion, i wouldn't be able to improve if i just get "yea sounds good man!" Thanks for all the pointers !
Hey rinster kerel Ik heb de nieuwe versie echt helemaal omgegooid, fixed the intro, and i tried to clarify the chords. but that 70/80%.. does that go for áll of my tracks? I rarely upload full tracks though, so you might be right anyway . Im just always so enthousiastic about my tune I want to share it ASAP.

I uploaded a new version, lemme know how you guys think of this!
