Yeah no shit, if women want equal rights, then I need to start seeing some "Gentlemen's night, guys FREE before midnight" signs up.

I'm all for equality, and I do think that, although women have achieved quite a lot in the last century, there are still some inequalities that need attention (including some of the current advantages over guys ).

The fact is that, if Mary Wollstonecraft was a feminist, then you bet I am a feminist as well... and I'm sure you wouldn't want to rape me, jastiC

i wrote my honours dissertation on feminism, and despite how i may behave, consider myself quite the feminist. i just think there are plenty of more important problems that regularly face humankind.

Actually, I can't think of many problems more important than sexism, racism and nationalism

And by that I mean that religion, for example, is really not at all important, because whether or not there is a God, there are minorities that could use some attention.

Poverty, liberal freedoms, prosperous economies & "fair" distribution, the environment. Just to name a few.

That a woman in a US office might get judged by her perfect rack is far less important than the issue of a person in zimbabwe voting without getting killed by their government.

Actually, I think that once you work on those inequalities I mentioned, many (if not most) of these problems will also be indirectly improved. Once you take down these artificial barriers between the peoples, economy will certainly benefit, for example. I'm really referring to those problems in a broad sense.

If anything, maybe the environment is the only problem that is completely unrelated to what I mentioned. And that's why I said:

and not

I can't think of any problem more important than
