I'm going to college full-time and I need to build up some funds in my savings account. I've been looking for a job at many places but I never had the right hours or experience. Like M^2 said, there are plenty of other jobs out there. Why people are satisfied with minimum wage/shitty environment jobs is beyond me.

I guess where you end up is determined by the amount of effort you're willing to put in.

I'm a full time college student with two jobs. One is career based, the other at Pizza Hut (why the fuck did you go to Dominos?). The "not having enough hours/experience" excuse is bullshit. You do have enough hours, you're just not willing to give up your free time. And I think A LOT of places would prefer college students over High School drop outs. Shows you have determination/drive, and at least the bare minimum of brains.

Something I pass on to all my friends younger siblings, etc, is that jobs that are not career based are not worth the fucking stress and commitment you put in. You don't like it, leave immediately. You have nothing to lose and far more to gain.
