Jon O'Bir's Debut Artist Album 'From Within'

Jon O'Bir is one of those talented young producers who took the dance scene by storm.
In 2002 when Jon O'Bir captured dance scenes attention by winning Passion's M8 Magazine's DJ Mix competition he appeared constantly on BBC's Radio 1 for Fergie's Essential Selection or Armin van Buuren's 'A State of Trance' show. This helped propellling his name to a wider audience. After a sensational 'Essential Mix' for BBC in 2006, Radio 1 offered Jon a slot on 'The Residency' alongside Eddie Halliwell and Nic Fanciulli, broadcast live on the UK's most listened to radio station.

He also became involved in Radio 1 events such as 'One Big Weekend' in Sunderland or it's '10 years in Ibiza' live from Space, Ibiza.

Nowadays, next to travelling the world as DJ, the former Godskitchen resident shows excellent taste and instinct for dancefloor destroyers as label manager for Conspiracy Recordings, is hosting his very own radio show 'Ways & Means' all around the globe and proves an outstanding producing talent!

Jon received incredible feedback for productions like 'Escapade', 'Bouncebackability', 'No Way Back' with Gareth Emery and 'Promise I Made' in collaboration with Belgium's Airwave.

A-list DJ's like Paul van Dyk and Armin van Buuren work their crowds at peak time with "Effectual"and "Ascendancy", Mixmag Magazine defined his music as "trance as how it's meant to be: beautiful bosh that takes you to another place".

This is exactly how to describe Jon O'Bir's upcoming album 'From Within'. Beautiful, emotional and fresh. Without crossing the very sensitive line to so called "cheesiness".

With incredible clean and energetic sound of tracks like 'Ways & Means', 'Ascendancy' or 'Sunrise' Jon gained Paul van Dyk's attention and signed the album right from the spot to his label VANDIT Records.

With the rising popularity of his productions, radio show and record label while still under25, thefuture looks very bright for Jon O'Bir.
