Are you trying to list your mp3, coz this can be done in winamp.

Put the tracks in your playlist and click misc twice and then click generate html

theres the old dos command that can do this, just use the dir with >filename.txt after it

like "DIR >fielname.TXT"

you can also do "dir *.mp3 >filename.txt"

type "dir /?" to list all possible options

to get dos load up teh ms dos promt n your start menu if its there, or goto start, select run and type "command" in

it's no program...it's a dos fuction...tho that maybe a program, i dunno

just press START -> RUN

then type CMD, or COMMAND...i think it's CMD, not sure tho

then do what jonsimmonds said

...but i think u should have a space after the >
...or maybe not

i dunno...basically it's an instruction to write the output of a DIR command into a file called "filename.txt"

any string/word u type after the > will be the filename

oh heck...

hmm...didn't see the last sentence of jons reply

other thing u can do...if your dos window buffer is long enough...is just highlight all the dos text you want to copy...make sure u select far enough to the right so u don't crop any stuff

then just RIGHT click with the highlight & that will copy to clipboard...then u can just paste into notepad/text editor and save there
