Did you export the kick in FL?? If so it may have had a limiter on the master |
I did not actually, I just dragged and dropped from the same source where the FL Studio one was dragged and dropped from. Actually, I never had this problem before...
I opened up a Cubase SX 3 project where I have a kick loaded whose volume by default was at -0.00 and was peaking at -08.25dB, which is perfect. I then Imported the same kick right under it in a new audio track and it played at -00.00dB (under the default volume. -0.00).
I just can't understand what happened?

Circular panning law in FL, in the general project settings. |
What would the equivalent be in Cubase (in terms of dB, I mean)?
