Smiley DJ New DJ help me out pros

Hey everybody! I'm a new DJ, but have been addicted to trance for many years. Just bought some gear and wanna get started spinning as a hobby and maybe play some gigs locally for fun. I'm using Serato vinyl, some technics, and a 3 channel pioneer mixer, but the issue I'm having is finding music..I know good music, and thanks to a lot of these forums and tracklistings I know the names of tracks and remixes, but I'm having trouble finding individual tracks and remixes online in mp3 format. I know there is beatport and vonyc, etc..but I don't wanna drop over $100 on building my music library. Any ideas of places I can go? Thanks!!

I think its a waste of time.. just stick to listening the good music..and if you really passionate and wanna do something.. than get in producing tracks rather than DJing.

You have to buy the tracks mate, especially when u are playing them out or u will eventually get caught. Get a second job and do it right like the rest of us. $100 is nothing compared to what most of us have invested in the music alone!

For Fuck Sake!
Buy your music. The music is in better quality and you won't regret it. If you're serious about your djing, that's the way to go.

Just buy a few tracks a week and over time you'll start building up a volume of tracks. You don't need to buy every good track you hear, just ones that you like and would want to play.

it's funny, because in the end, everyone who you assumed gave you "constructive advice" were actually saying "pay for your fucking music."
