Not exactly sure why this song was ever considered good, since it obviously is not. Is it just because Mr. Dyk produced it in his prime that it got a lot of attention? Maybe because of the experience people had while listening to this song in it's prime? Either way, none of these are valid excuses for the track itself being any good.
i remember when it came out and wasnt struck by it , but it grew on me and although its not my favorite i can listen to it without the urge to turn it over
Easily the most recognizable of Van Dyk's tracks? Definitely - hence why it's so popular.

It's not even close to his best work- I can name about thirty PVD productions better than it with no trouble at all. The '98 re-release was the beginning of the end for PVD- out went the progressive trance, in came the tuneful cheddar.
