Steve Aoki gets pimp slapped
From an Australian music forum. Found this quite hilarious
when aoki was in australia last time, he rocked up to a local party. he seemed to be super drunk, but he could have been pulling off 'ye olde water for belevedre' technique which has used to great effect obviously overseas. anyhow, he tried to barge his way onto the turntable and take over from a sydney DJ, spruce lee (whitey). the crowd in attendance were all a little stunned as we didn't know what was the proper electro etiquette for this situation - back up our home town hero, or instead yell "woot!" and try and suck ass to some international scenester god, who had graced us with his presence at our lowly antipodes party unannounced. luckily spruce lee saved us the mental anguish as he slapped aoki across the face, sending him tumbling out of the DJ booth, down a couple of stairs and onto the dance floor. needless to say everyone went bananas as the ecstascy rush took over again and we all realised that we'd just witnessed something truly amazing. aoki, being a good sport and realising that he'd been bested in battle simply stood and and started dancing.
