wow.. my gf and roommate were beating themselves up for not being able to go to either one, but I guess this might be some sort of consolation. $65 for 2hrs of tiesto.. I'd be upset at that alone!

I was on the beach for the whole thing and got there around the time Victor was playing. Victor's set was nice and seemed to fit the mood of just hanging out. Missed Scott Robert's opening set unfortunately (since he was scheduled).
I have to say... I was really surprised at the sound he started with at the Wavehouse. Dropping a lot of "vibey" house (not even just like beach vibe or themed tracklisting, but more just background music), although I was pleasantly surprised to hear the Steve Angello & Laidback Luke "Be" mashup using the Instrumental Mix (for a long break), House of Jack accapella, and the Original vocal bootleg at the end. Didn't expect it at all. Even my buddy commented on how "housey" the set was. I guess Tijs lived up to what he claimed himself, "I'm a house DJ, always have been, I just happen to spin what people call trance, but to me its all house anyways"
A while into Tiesto's slot the venue got a notice from SDPD to clear the boardwalk. Nearly 45 mins go by with no music and just dead silence as people tried to get back to the beach wall, which amazed me yet again that San Diegans can't get the idea.
When Tiesto did come back he opened it with a fury of good trance tracks, and kept the outdoor vibe alive all the way to nearly 9:15 (well after his scheduled time of 8). Some notable tracks for me included the following: Lethal Industry (Richard Durrand Remix) [I actually had spun it in my room earlier that day...lol]; Love Comes Again [Who can't like this track... =0)]; Deadmauy5's "Not Exactly" pitched up to hell [seriously must have been at like +4-6% to make it 134-136 bpm LOL]; and his closing track of Fonzerelli "Moonlight Party" [God I love this one too!]; his "encore" track was "In The Dark" [definitely a sing-a-long pop track... LOL]
I didn't go to 4th & B and wound up hanging out at another night my friend's were throwing to show support. I'll make this note on 4th & B though. If Tiesto played until 2:30 than he did play past there normal closing time, as the venue does not have an afterhours license to operate. This would explain why he may have felt more or less abbreviated at the venue.
I will say this, kudos to the beach crew for keeping it controlled. The cops kept patrolling and making laps by the wall, and it could easily have gotten out of control, but it didn't, and that's a great thing. As well, kudos to the beach crew for rocking to the music. From the beach the venue looked so dead inside as a whole it was pathetic. Outdoors ftw! The price for my ticket absolutely rocked. =0)

Bro, that was not Tiesto the first time.... That was someone else. Once there was no music for a while, that was SDPD dealing with the boardwalk. When the music came back, that was Tiesto's first track. Touch Me (Mike Koglin - Jono Grant remix)

I wet to the Wavehouse and I had a BLAST!!!!!I had plenty of room to dance, hang out, and socialize. There was no rude people pushing, no washing mashines, no rudeness. At least not where I was at. Actually, everyone around me was really friendly. Lol...
So I got there around 4pm, Victor was playing and the line was huge! I said fuck it, so my friend and I went to eat and walk around. I guess his manager did gave me the correct time, and Tiesto wasn't coming until around 7pm. We had plenty of time to kill.
We got back, no line, and Bam!!! They wouldn't let my friend in. Her ID Expired, so they asked for another form of ID, we showed them her green card and they said they couldn't accept it. So then we took out her mexican passport and they said they couldn't accept it either!!! ggggrrrrrrr... We were mad. I asked to speak to the manager, and he said the same thing. My friend is a diehard Tiesto fan, so she got really sad.
We went to the boardwalk, and noticed that you can see the stage and hear the music from there. So we stayed there for the reminder of Victors set and sadly enough, we also stayed for the horrible opener. I swear that DJ sucked ass big time!!! I never talk shit on DJ's, but this one really sucked ass big time. Everyone around us kept talking shit!!!! Victor should've been the only opener.
Anyhow, more people started getting there and the boardwalk got packed like crazy!!! There was people with kids, people with dogs, it was awesome. The vibe there was pretty cool actually. I ran into St Michael there.
My friend called her boyfriend to come over and hang out with her so that I can go in. So I knew I had an extra ticket and didn't knew what to do with it. I saw this girl next to us who kept dancing to Victor's set, and she looked like she really wanted to go in. I asked her "Hey, do you wanna go in?" She made this sad face, and said "YES." So I took out my extra ticket and told her "here you go, have fun." All of the sudden her sad face disappeared and she became the happiest girl in the entire boardwalk. She immediately ran to get inside.
Anyhow, so my friends boyfriend finally shows up, I go in, and I see a lot of my friends. But they didn't wanted to go to the center cuz it was a madhouse there. Plus, were we were it was perfect. It was right infront of the speakers, on the right side of the stage. There was plenty of room there.
I met a couple of people there. I was hanging out with some girl the time. She was really cool and had awesome personality. I think that made my Tiesto experience better. She asked if she could borrow my camera to take pix, I said yea! So she goes around taking pix of random people and some hot girls. And when she came back, she goes, "HERE, I TOOK SOME AWESOME PIX FOR YOU." Gave me my camera back, I look, and WOW!!! There was pix of girls flashing!!!!! That was AWESOME!!!!
Than I ran into Lety, Victor, St Michael, Michelle, Greg, and a few other friends which made the whole experience a lot better.
Honestly, this show was fucken awesome!!! I really like it and I danced non stop the whole time. I actually enjoyed his entire set and I can say it has been one if not my most enjoyable tiesto show ever. It's rare when there's so much room to dance on a Tiesto show.

Tiesto's music selection was great. We were rocking on the Sea Wall.
The whole Police thing was stupid. I was sitting on the Sea Wall right in front of the Wavehouse sign since 3 PM and the Police showed up around 5 PM and never indicated that we needed to move to the beach. Since we were sitting on the Sea Wall we are immune to it all. As soon as it was coming time for Tiesto to play the Police tried to shut it down and started pushing people around. NO ONE was drunk or causing problems. 3 guys still got arrested and 5 people got fined for smoking.
The cops actually fired everyone up on the beach. Since most people were inside drinking since 3 PM no wonder the crowd wasn't as fired up as the beach crowd.
It was so funny about the 4WD Cop Truck trying to get in the way of us dancing. The cops figured out they were just firing us even more so they quit.
Tiesto on the beach for free, what can be better?
