Here's a clip from my latest one - would really appreciate some feedback.

Very solid beat, you got the groove down tight.

Those atmospheric synths are very vintage sounding, i like it.


Ive only heard 1 minute and i know youre at the level where youre only perfecting your style and not the technical aspect of producing.

I didnt like that lil major progression shortly after the beginning of the clip, felt too weird, the bass and beat sounding too nasty for it imo, plus you go trancey melody after that (which is always kinda bittersweet and never completely major chords)

I think you couldve done something more original with the lead synths, instead of X - - X - - X - - X kinda beat, if you see what i mean.

I dont really like the first mini breakdown, and the second one doesnt deliver enough in my opinion, its a kinda boring crescendo.


ALL THAT BEING SAID, im being picky here, trying to see what you could arrange in the song structure/style, but as I said, this is your call because you definitaly know what youre doing.

I was trying to keep the breakdowns fairly subtle, but might have lost something in the process...the second one was meant to be a "take-it-away-then-bring-it-back" thing rather than a big spacious job...

Anyway, good feedback - things to think about for next time!
