Virgin Records Megastore (time Square) Closing On 2009
Closing on the first quarter of the year 2009 due to high rent.
This is a shame Virgin records is one of the places I like to go to when Im in the city and dont have anything to do.

that's a shame, but not surprising considering that no one buys shit from the big music stores anymore. the shuttering of tower records on 4th & brdway upset me more since i spent chunks of my childhood in there.
the one good thing from these closures: oodles of music available for pennies.

hahah i remeber when The Wiz closed its stores and they were selling CDs at $5 each and you could 5 for $20

Hahaha, the wiz. good old memories of that store chain.
I might atually hit the Virgin to buy some import CDs that cost a sh*t load once they go on sale. That would compolete some empty holes in my collection.
