i've actually had a lot of heart-to-heart talks with my mom about various things including alcohol and drinking. i try to keep most of what i do in my own private life seperate, but i told her about mardi gras and getting mono. we're pretty close, so its more funny now than when i was in high school or younger. what was strange was when she was naming streets in the quarter when she went to MG back in the 70s.

i'll also never forget the time i told her i drank boones' farm in college my freshmen year when i was under 21 and she said, "are those bottles still 99 cents?" and my jaw dropped, lol. i responded with, "no, they're now $1.99".
