Yeah man I'm on here a fair bit, I was surprised to see you here too. At the mo I'm pretty much taking in some of the other amateur material on here.. just waiting for my macbook pro to arrive so I can properly re-work a few track ideas I have in the making and then I'll be posting some of my own material.

Lol, yeah there was a lot of vocal/well known floorfiller stuff (trusty old Diary of Jane etc haha) but it's just good to hear some proper trance in Perth (which doesn't turn out to actually be shitty hard-dance) without having to wait for one of the big expensive events once or twice a year. I woulda been one of the guys on the dancefloor yeah, I was the one in the grey hoodie attempting to dodge the gurning freaks. Unfortunately I had to leave during Barwood so I couldn't watch Nato but he always rocks it too. Woulda been nice if you and him were b2b and Barwood had been pushed to the late set, just quietly, haha :P

Nice! Be sure to PM me or post something here or in the Australia forum when you're next booked there and I'll get myself and a bit of a crew together to come watch ya. I like the direction rise is taking lately, at least they're trying to gradually shed that cheezy image and from chatting to a few ppl in the crowd they seem a little more trance-educated. I mean there was plenty of the standard crowdpleasing Sean Tyas tracks lol, but it was nice to also hear tracks like Onova-Platitude and Bart Claessen - First Light ... if I never hear Tiesto's Adagio ever again that would be alright with me tho haha, I think i was the only one trying to leave the dancefloor at that point :P

yeah I've just had enough of the continuous weeks being artists such as Brooklyn Bounce, Nick Skitz etc.

But yer there is a graduall change of some really good artists playing at the rise.

I'll let ya know of my next set.
