Cool Pictures from 40,000 feet

Here is a picture of the water park in Canada's Wonderland I took while flying back from Thunder Bay.

Here are the rest:

Those pictures are amazing

Nothing better than flying

I flew over the city and then up north a bit in a small plane last summer. Unfortunately due to the reflection of the window, the shitty camera I brought with me, running out of batteries, and lots of turbulence I didnt get any decent photos.

I feel your pain. Even though many pics look good, I had to edit each one and apply filters n' such 'cause the dam sun was blazing on my window. Too much glare.

BTW, here's your photo:

I get 4 free passes after working 200 hours and that's it for the season. To tell you the truth I don't even think I'll be there that long

Most of it has to do with contrast. If there's anything else you don't do, the contrast adjustment is the one you do. After that you might consider touching up with brightness. Just lower it a little to make the colours a bit more vibrant. These two alone will make a big difference on most photos.

It sucks when your taking pics on a plane when your on the sunny side. That dam glare off those slightly dirty plastic windows are a menace. A few I took when we were closer to the ground near Wonderland were pure luck. We were just slightly turning away from the sun which reduced the glare. A little photo correction and I managed to get the the good photo.

Google's FREE Picasa photo program (http://picasa.google.com/) does a pretty good job on photo corrections. I've used it when it first came out. Now I use Corel PhotoPaint for my images. When using Picasa, remember that the changes aren't permanent. It does this so that you can undo your changes any time in the future. If you want to make it permanent just export the edited picture to another directory.

levels work wonders on pictures that are overexposed.
