Whole foods and hunger

I can be semi-hungry and munch away on some carrots or an apple, for example, and 5 minutes later my hunger seems to have increased exponentially. Does this happen to you, too, or is it just my insane metabolism?

happens to me when i have pasta for dinner. i will wake up in the middle of the night painfully hungry...like to the point where no matter how tired i am, i HAVE to eat something. i usually eat a banana or whip up a PB&J at 2 in the morning when that happens lol. i can't go back to sleep with my stomach growling.

are u working out a lot? and usually its better not to have a few bites of something, since it only ends up making u more hungry.

Foods like that are mostly water, and are easily digestible. That's why they're often used as appetisers for large meals.

I do a 30 minute strength training routine on MWF and about a 2 mile walk on TTSS.

+ infinity on the pasta. Same with "Chinese" food. With either one, about an hour and fifteen minutes later I'm like, "Well, you can only rent that shit, not own it" and I'm back in the pantry.

switch to whole wheat pasta/rice and u will be satisfied much longer. That processed crap is nothing but a sugar spike and digests way too fast.

Fuck, no, whenever I start munching on "just a couple of peanuts" before going to bed, I end up eating a shitload of them.

lol go peanut butter then...the protein dries out your mouth and usually curbs hunger. I agree sometimes I start eating peanuts and I turn crack head.

Actually my new crack head food is dry roasted sunflower kernels! Try to stop eating those!!
