Mixing question

First post here.

Do any of you guys use any other programs to mix audio? or all done in the DAW? im trying to see if its easier to find a 3rd party program to mix and just save all .wav files to mix in a program or just stay with the DAW.

you can do your mixdown in your daw. you don't need to bounce the trax out to anything else man.

WaveStudio PBT 5.7b rewired to my left nut.

Seriously though - I've never heard of this. Sequencers are intended to be used for mixing. They have far more features for this than any external program you might be inclined to use.

+1 though. The sequencer you are using (Ableton) is going to provide more than enough options for a proper mixdown. I've struggled with getting mixdowns just right, but I'm 1000% positive it is operator error, not the sequencer. Just going to have to practice more and do a hell of a lot more cross referencing on other systems for it to sound just right (speaking for myself).
