my first ever tracks, please post some comments!:)

hey all..

im kinda new to producing music, but here are my first tries with software please post any commands... i feel like im missing frequencies in both songs and the hi hat is too loud.. its just like the samples are not completing eachother..er damn hard to explain..

here are 2 pieces of some stuff by me

hey

the sonic inc rmx track has a melody and synth to it that whilst a little bit of reverb/delay/eq'ing could be great! just try to get the most out of it and add some more melodies/strings

percussion is weak though... the beat is too silent and the claps are too standard... the hihat will do if you turn up its volume a bit more

and i immediatly have a question
how do i get a less silent beat without audio clipping? cos thats what usually happens when i tried to make loud beats...

you turn up your monitoring speakers

no really turn up your speakers and make all the sounds at the right level make sure they arent cliping.

save it, and then master it with other software, that will enable you to turn the base up without screwing up the song
