[Uplifting/Epic]Neuchatel - 215000 hours

Finally I got this melodic uplifting track almost as I wanted. Supersaw is the keyword for this one I guess, and a lot of melody and madness. Been working on this one for two days and it's nearing it's end soon, just tell me what I need to do make it there.

Any questions just ask. I'd like some detailed comments also

Enjoy!

i listen to the tunes you put up and everytime your melodys , hooklines and riffs are superb . but being down to personal choice for me im not so keen on your bass/percs arrangement as i like a constant energy drive to trance.

But in all fairness your technical and music ability in this tune is spot on

p.s is that you in your avatar or do you like lucas neill (west ham soccer player lol)

I know! Somethings wrong with the bass here, its just pumping without any specific sound to it, so is the percussions...so I will try switching to more characteristic sound one both aspects. i'm a big fan of constant pumping energy and driving sounds also, but still my tracks lacks it a little...i just have to learn more i guess.

The sounds are not to bad but for example i put a kick obviously on every first and then the bass on the third, again obviously ,but my percs , i use 5 lines and usually and have them constant , not breakbeat or broken up (dont forget this is how i like my trance )

Hey man, this is very sophisticated work ... again ... It took me a second listen to notice the lack of complexity in your perc lines, but it doesn't detract from the music because your stabs and bassline add enough interest and texture. The melody is a good one, although I personally didn't find it all that "uplifting" in the context of the tune's current composition, but we all have different standards for what sounds uplifting. Much like your other tracks, it very much sounds like something Tiesto would spin! Nice work as always

Thanks for good comments as always mr.N.S. I Agree it's a lack of percs in here...it seems to be one of my biggest weaknesses, that and climaxes at its max potential energy. I hope I can twist my brains to make more focus on this in the future.

The genre might be wrong...it probably should be epic or something.

Another good track.
I have to be honest and say that I like your techier stuff more but thats a personal choice.

I disagree slightly with some of the other posters in some aspects. Indeed perhaps your perc lines are a bit simple. But I think for this track you have to watch it anyway as you have a lot of sweeps and hi end stuff going on and you may risk getting it cluttered up. Sometimes what you leave out is more important than what you put it.

But I think I know they sound that they are after, and to achieve that you have to create a more rolling bassline for starters as in this case the base is very standard and simple (Not a bad thing, just would give a different feel to the track).

If you did want to make this more driving then yes, you would probably have to rewrite the whole bass and perc part to the track.

Thanks for sharing

Cheers
Nem
