MDR-v700DJ vs RP-DJ1210

well im sorry to start another headphone thread, but the sticky one has just gotten far to long winded. Basically i am willing to spend about £80 on a good pair of headphones, possibly £100. But i keep hearing that the MDR-v700DJ are shit. So shud i go for the RP-DJ1210 instead??? or is there a better alternative?

peace

I dont know they say the sennheiser hd280 is good, I personally like the pioneer phones but their base it a little weak. I like the MDR700's on the other hand too, so I guess thats not too much help

Try finding the Sony MDR-V6 (not 600) or the Sony 7506. They will be your best bet if you can find them.

Sennheiser HD280 Pro are also good from what I understand. They block out the most amount of sound and should great for DJing.

i'm very satisfied with my MDR-V700's .. i should say, that these are they first real DJ headphones i've owned, but they are a HUGE improvement over anything that costs much less.

they are definitly not bad

there is a reason for that headphone thread... to keep the occurances of these threads to a minimum...
it's long winded because there is a lot of useful info there... check through some of the pages there... or you can do a search of the forums...

before i posted this, i read thru every single page of that thread. Its gotten far to sloppy in there. Change of opinions, out of date info, its just a complete mess. I couldnt find answers to the questions i wanted. However, from this thread i have made i hav found thanks to big dave, MERiDiAN5i2, El~ZaPo, Dj Zinni some recommendations, and answers kept short and sweet that have benefited me greatly. So thanks for that guys. Once again im sorry to start another headphone thread but now i hope u understand why i did.

ive had the MDR 7506 for over a year now, and they are pretty good, they havent broken or budged. I don't know if these would be good for very loud environments though. For bedroom to studio to moderately loud, these are pretty good.

The MDR-7506 are good for very loud environments... they isolate plenty, especially with the Beyerdynamic pads, and are sensitive enough to get extremely loud with a low amount of power!

Hear, hear!

That's all the information you need to know unless you really want to get detailed and get the scoop on all of those headphones. I personally recommend the Sony MDR-V6/7506.
