Piano VST (Needed badly!)

I recently started using pianos in some of my productions to try and bright the atmosphere up of some tracks...It does make a difference but I could do with better pianos...Sorry if this has been asked before but could anyone tell me or recommend any piano vst's that yous have used? Thanks in advance

P.S. I'd be willing to spend quite a bit

Does it have to be a VST?
If you're willing to spend some cash why not but a synth like the Korg Trinity, or a Roland XP-30, Xp-50, JV-1080.

Otherwise check out KVR Audio's forums, I came across the same request a month or 2 ago there.

Try getting some Korg M1 piano samples. I heard Above & Beyond use a Korg M1 for their pianos.

I use a Korg X3 and it has some great piano sounds.
Check out the Korg 01W, 01R/W, X5, X5D, N-Series.

Even some older Alesis synths have some great piano patches.

you could try edirol orchestral or steinberg the grand, but both of those are relatively mediocre (orchestral is great for everything BUT piano) imo, especially for the price

i really liked pianoteq, you can find a 30 day trial on their website i think.

Got paid the other day I don't need it specifically for something, i'm just looking to try out new things using Pianos.

@ counterfeiter: Doesn't have to be VST if the price isn't too high

@ Eldritch: Above & Beyond ****** style" is exactly what i'm looking for , something along the lines of the piano used in "Oceanic"

Thanks for the help everyone, appreciate it
