Read This! Ableton vs. frooty loops

okay i've messed with frooty loops. I'm seriously considering purchasing Ableton. How different are the two?

Isn't it "fruity", or was that just an attempt at humor?

this isn't a question you should be asking, there are demos available for both products which you can try and decide upon. if that doesn't make you decide then asking on forums really won't either. it's whatever you're comfortable with more.

bashing on another person's daw is very much the same as the old pc vs mac battle thingie...

retarded...

in either case, all that matters is what you can do with the tools you are using.

Yeah, just try the demos and find out what your comfortable with, personally im a fan of both, although i mainly use ableton nowadays, but if i fancy something different then i always enjoy going back to FL Studio.

Try the demos find out what YOU like about them.

fl studio is great for sequencing percussion imo. i like fl studio better, but it's what i'm accustomed to. i see ableton as more of a live dj mashup/edit tool than a production tool.
