So I got my first giro account and I can use it for online shopping.
I'm wondering how safe it is and what's the best service for buying on Amazon and eBay?
I've heard some bad stories about PayPal, bad security, stolen money and stuff, so I'm trying to be careful.

never had any issues here w/ paypal.

on amazon, i use my amazon chase card for purchasing things.

Amazon doesn't take paypal. I just use visa.

I usually just browse online, and then when I find something I want I go to the store and get it, I'm pretty impatient.

that is the one thing i don't like about amazon. i love the free shipping....but hate waiting 9 days for it

Yeah but most of the stuff they sell is WAY less than youd be paying in the store, plus youre saving an extra 7-10 on shipping. Its worth it, IMO.

9 days? I never ordered anything from amazon that took more than 2 days to get here.

Same! And that's with the free shipping.

It depends where you are relative to an Amazon shipping location. They use whatever means is cheapest to get your stuff to you. I live in Atlanta and it takes about 7 days for free shipping (from Lexington, KY) because the cheapest way is slow trucks. If you live on the West Coast or something, the cheapest way will probably be faster.
