This is probably unimaginable current in America...but in China...is it unreasonable at all to assume one is being watched on a forum, even if, the forum would be say, an electronic music website...or especially something like the PDD? What's to say it doesn't already happen right now with our own forum? I won't jump to conclusions, but is this an unreasonable suspicion, since they're already tapping our phone calls, email, and financial records.

I personally believe, we're slowly digressing into a right-wing police state.

even if they were, so what? there's no law to prevent an officer of the government from standing between you and a friend chatting on the street. what's the difference?

can we, just for a second, acknowledge that "the government" isn't some monolithic hive-mind of cohesive unity? for fuck sake. look at 911- half the reason it happened was because of a lack of agency communication; people worried about their bailiwick or rivalry/jealousy.
