Me = No Musical Talent
(Yeah, like I can produce a song...psh! Not that i am dumb musically, but I can't produce. Big fuck.)
Good Trance Artists = Lots of Talent
Making good trance is DAMN HARD, and many tracks are "musically challenging" as well. Quite frankly, the only stuff that is truely musically challenging is some experimental stuff, or classical.
I have no clue what this post is trying to say, to be honest. Trance is HARD to make, does it require years of music study? No. Why should it? Big fucking deal.

Hes just like many other people that criticize trance in the world. Many people have claimed that trance is the reason for drug use at raves these days which is not 100% true. and then now this guy who claims he reads the stuff in this forum and says that the artists have no talent...when did somebody say this??? Producing trance songs is very difficult and it takes just as much talent as creating any other song in any genre. Being a dj isn't that easy either...their is beat matching, pitch adjusting, and song selection. Having musical talent is creating music that people love and theres a reason why us tranceaddicts love this trance...because talented musicians created it. ALLENTHX shouldn't make assumptions when he doesn't know the whole truth.

Well the topic in the link is regarding this site, so its only correct to post it. And BTW, I think the person who posted that topic was referring the members on the Amateur Production forum. Or maybe not.

| quote: | This is interesting.I've been reading posts on tranceaddict.com,and what I discovered is:
1.The majority of people on that forum and the artists they listen to do not have musical talent.They admit this.
2.What they say IS more important are the sounds.The mix.They are true.The sound is essential in this type of music,even more important than the song structure itself.
3.Most use software because they cant even play a single chord on the piano.
Talent? My answer is yes,but not musical talent.Producing talent would be the right phrase.
The above does not apply for all dance music,however.
For anyone who knows what the sub catagories are,I happen to love eurodance.This is just like pop,but with techno/trance sounds.
I think I should try to do that kind of music,if I can talk my co-writer into it.

Yes he is right , there is no talent in Trance Music. I recall me creating a thread like this before, im glad he does not like trance as he does not diserve to listen to it.
