Good Wav to MP3 Prog.?

Who can tell me where i can find a good program to transform wav files into mp3 files. A URL would be great!

Get the LAME encoder. It's the best.
Also get a program called Razorlame which will help you control the program better.

Search for it on google.ca or something.

Do a search for dbpoweramp, its by far the best and easiest program to change files from wav to mp3, at different bit rates of your choice etc etc...

Give it a try, trust me.

DO not by any means use this "audio catalyst" proggie... ..this is just about the worst encoder you could use...i used it, then i switched to LAME and could actually tell the difference between the quality of the music...

trust me on this one....GET cDEX proggie which uses Lame encoder. link is given above by jploveparade.

personally i would go for this one.

Extremely simple and easy to use and fast aswell.

Also has a great range of bitrates.

anybody not recommending CDEX/LAME encoder obviously did not read the specs that the audiophiles came up with regarding mp3 ripping quality and various encoders...
