Pros:
-The graphics are GORGEOUS. IGN said it had the most beautiful visuals of any downloadable title to date...I dunno if I'd stretch the compliments out that far (Rez, Geometry Wars, and Everyday Shooter are hypnotically astounding), but either way, this is the kind of 2-D'ness a full blown retail game would feature.
-Even during the trial version, I could tell the game would be hilarious. A lot of great, funny humor.
-If you dug the classic, you will dig this, no doubt about that. Everything that the NES classic had is retained here, and improved upon.
Cons:
-If you DIDN'T like the NES classic, you WON'T like this, since very little has changed. For instance, I didn't like how the original lacked a jump button, which forced you to use that grappling device all the time. That's totally fine, something creative and intuitive, but when there's something as little as a barrel blocking your path, instead of hopping over it, you have to maneuver a crazy grappling trick that might end up getting you hit by a nearby enemy. I'm sure with experience, this all will be hardly a problem (I hardly played the NES version, so that's why this is a problem for me).
-Due to the 360's shitty D-pad, this game might be a little tougher on MS's console. The PS3 pad dominates when it comes to 2-D games, so I would wager it's not too much of a problem on Sony's side.
