Id guess the off chance that someone might harm themself in order to save money would reduce the chances of something like this ever coming into effect.

wouldn't the environmental benefits of saving costly fuel and reducing our carbon footprint outweigh the chance that someone might harm them self?

most airlines already force the real fatties to purchase an extra seat.

beyond that I think actually charging all constomers by weight is a stupid idea and will never happen. Any airline that actually did that would probably be out of business within a year... unless they could figure out a way for prices to be substantially lower that other airlines for average weight people.. which probably wouldn't happen.

Nah, not unless they take up two seats, in which case they already charge.

They should, however, place surcharges on B.O. rays strong enough to set off a Geiger counter. $10 per click.

And tack on a flat $500 for every time an infant cries, screams, or kicks the seat in front.

I actually think they should. Or at least there should be a maximum for you and your luggage....

I was going to be charged 60 pounds for 10kg over a couple of years back so I, in the middle of the check in, swapped my little shoes for boots, put another couple of tops on and had 3 cardis and 2 coats. It meant I only paid 10 pounds and I still wasn't as fat with all that on as the woman behind me.

I was fucking hot though.
