If they don't have a permit to protest, and cover their faces and act in a hostile manner, they should expect to get tear gassed and beat down.

was at Penn State in 2002 when a house party escalated to bottle throwing and people setting shit on fire. I was drunk and hung around even after the police showed up. This was a mistake
Those guys came through, although only about 50 of them, single file line, and told us to get the fuck out fo the way. I was drunk as hell but I got my ass moving. If you dont move, its resisting and they will take you down, end of story
When the police do this its necessary on college campuses to maintain order amonst a bunch of drunk know it all students. The hippie and his gf in video 2 needed move, they didnt, they got tackled.
YOu think those police men want to tackle some 90 pound girl? No...but any sign of weakness will be exploited by the students. Police are doing their jobs. Dont give them shit.
You can see the immaturity of the students in that video. They think its fun and exciting until they get their asses handed to them. Not so funny now is it?

I'm not fond of linking directly to infowars but each video on this page is really more disturbing than the last:

College students, many of whom were not even protesting and were observing the protests from their residence halls, are tear gassed, shot with rubber bullets, and have their residence halls invaded.
More change we can believe in, right? |
Where do you see res halls invaded? They were in the pathway over the street where the protest was taking place. Shoulda moved.

The first video on the site. The stairway they're trapped in is part of the residence hall and a student interviewed at the end talks of them invading residence halls. |
Invading residence halls like pulling poeple out of their rooms? I dont see any of that in any of the vids. The cops told the kids to get out of the streets. The kids wanted to stay in the through way over the street to watch and get their jollies off and record everything because that's what young people do. They waited too long to leave and got gassed.
And regards to "invading the dorms" would an abercrombie wearing spoonfed college douchebag exaggerate something like this while on camera? Likely yes. Listen to the background conversations in the videos. Those students are very immature

And does Alex Jones and his crew make any mention of what those peaceful students did prior to the cops showing up in riot gear and helicopters?
Its nighttime. You think those college students were all sober and behaving nicely? Gimme a break.
