Hello im new here. and new to making trance music. i was just wondering. is there any better programs to make trance (i have FL Studio 7 xxl producer edition) just wondering. and also my tracks feel like their lacking the kick of real trance. if i can get some tips that would be great ^.^

Fruity's not bad, but you need good samples. Its hard to produce that 'quality' sound in any genre with only onboard sounds. You should look into ableton too, magic program man.

you build a sample collection by sampling tracks, collecting cd's, recording them yourself. it's a tedious process.

nothing comes easy. you're not going to just open a program and expect to have this compilation of the greatest, most crisp sounding samples and synths available to man-kind.
