so...lets hear your stories?
i arrived around 11. The line moved fairly quickly considering the amount of people out side. "Grinder to the crotch chick" out front was cool.
moved as fast as possible through kool haus to Guv for Mark Knights set. He was playing some nice tunes, but found his set to be up and down vibe/intensity wise.
We left at 1am to head over to the tent for Vandalism. Holy fuck what a mess trying to get through orange room to kool haus (the route to the tent) again, considering the amount of people going the same way, it was pretty quick. Vandailism were pretty good, but the last 2o mins of their set when Cassie the singer came on, it got really quiet and never got louder...even for when mstrkrft came on. Maybe cause it was outside and to prevent noise violations?
fak...geting tired and need to sleep..
in the tent. drank expresso...YES!! they had a fucking expresso machine! how wicked was that?
went to guv at 3 for ingrosso & angello...benny was still on and played till 3:45. he suprisingly had me going good. real good. can anyone i.d that rock track he played around 3:30?
ingrosso and angello were solid.
I'm getting super lazy...tired.
yes. horrible review, I know.
I'm gonna go have a glass of vodka and give myself a hand job before i goto bed.
edit: set/music of the night for me. a toss up between the first portion of mstrkrft and the last portion of benny benassi.
moment of the night for me....waiting for 2 mins for the saxaphone intro on "man with the red face - mark knight mix" part way through angello & ingrosso's set. saxaphone dissapears and that wickedly cool melody plays on...and on...and on....

i got inside around 12:10ish and the place had been pretty full already at that point.
straight to guv for mr knight which was alright, but i kind of expected better.
i spent the majority of the night guv patio and guv. checked out a good portion of Jelo's set which i really enjoyed a lot. Some sexy ass women all over too loved the eye candy.
angello and ingrosso were really awesome they are the reason why went.
loved how they were pumping everyone up with the airhorn and the train horn. left around 5.

I thought Mark Knight played some awesome tunes that I really wanted to hear at the guv. When I heard Columbian Soul coming in I was ready to go home cuz I'd have paid $60 to hear that alone. But yeah he was a little up and down in his set and I wondered if he was a bit thrown by the weird timeslot. He was definitely pounding it out when i arrived but then played some groovin tracks then back to pounding it. I didn't mind though cuz he certainly knows how to work that guv system and it was sounding warm and fuzzy last night. The guv sound is really unique from what I can tell. Its a treat to still have a place where you can hear music played the way it was made to sound.
What was that last track Mark KNight played before handing things over to Benassi. Really hard thundering track. Must have it!

OMG what a night! Meeting ppl and videoing everything in site. Got to go to sleep now and when I wake up I'll see how the vids turned out. It will take a while to edited for sure so you guys have to be patient.
Quick highlights from my perspective...
- Got there about 10-ish?
- met a bunch of "Trance Addicts" who were such good ppl... of course you already know that.
- met Benny Benassi and chat with him for a few minutes, gave him some of my cards after he watched some of the stuff I recorded.
- Met Joee Cons and we exchanged cards (they opened Gallery for that night). He wants to see what I recorded of him before he gives blessings to use footage. 8P
- Quickly met Steve Angello & Sebastian Ingrosso and gave them my cards too.
- Met strangers who were freaking out over my laser.
- Also met a bunch of saucy gals... you know who you are. ;)
- Left about 7:15 and videoed walking from Drink to outside heading towards the car.

For guv, that's a steal. I wish they'd do it from now on because god knows how good a latte would be at 5am when you know there's still a good 2 hours to go.

So sad i missed it glad to hear you guys had a good time
Heard alot of Mark Knight and Benassi's sets, they were both pretty good.
Caught a bit of Armin, but I thought he was disappointing... his mixing was sloppy (i.e. not just beatmatching, but phrasing was off for a few transitions!). Funny to hear him playing Deadmau5 - Not Exactly pitched up like +7 or so though.
