Beatport, Matthew Dear aka Audion and the electronic music label Spectral Sound have announced a remix competition for Audion’s most recent release, “Billy Says Go”.
Beatport's giving away two of the track's parts and you can get the rest in a bigger pack which includes the full original.
so basically you get a bag full of crap and no release of your hard-work and time

At least they're letting people put it on their myspace and stuff though... A lot of competitions specifically say you can't.
But its still really bad karma to expect people to pay for the remix pack without even the promise of a release if you win IMO.
Yeah the prizes kind of blow, but I'd be down to give it a shot.
