I've always wanted to get hold of an "Essential Mix" vocal sample and use it over the top of tracks in a set so people with think "STUPID C**T STOLE THIS FUCKING MUSIC!".

Just play a set with Deadmau5 tracks only. That should do the trick. |

Re: Essential Mix Voice Overs

Is it just me, or are they becoming more and more obnoxious and distracting? Listening to Pete Tong is alright, but hearing variants of "BBC Radio One Essential Mix" with effects for 30+ seconds intervals is just plain annoying. As an example, see Paolo Mojo's EM at ~52 min. |
well rather than just slap an essential mix over the top, they try to mix it in (at least from all the mixes i've heard). i think it sounds good sometimes, but they really have to do that because you have some really lame ass people who will use other peoples mixes to get gigs
