MIlton Jackson - Giawol EP [Tronicsole]

01. It's a Garage Thing (Original mix)
02. Beeets (Original mix)
03. Check Technique (Original mix)

So this came out early August, but I don't think it got as much attention as it deserved. Very, very techy stuff for the most part here, and I really like almost all of it.

I hesitate to use the phrase "Detroit techno influenced" - but that's really what I hear even though strictly speaking they are clearly not Detroit techno.

Either way, check it if you haven't. I'm guess a decent split between people who love it and people who hate it - just strikes me as that kind of release.

Samples at the usual suspects.

A Garage Thing would be my pick, as i'm a bigger fan of his smooth/melodic approaches than the techy ones. He's a great producer, but there's alot of "stuffing" between his gems.

I like it specially " it's a garage thing"

On the other tracks I see more of a current "Hiro" influence than a Milton jackson one
