Story Of Stuff (documentary)

Here's a great mind-opening documentary on consumerism. I dont think it has been posted on this forum before, I know on PDD it has been ... On the main page of the website, click PLAY and its only 21 minutes long. I hope you all like it. Its an important message.

yeah..have you seen 9mm with Nicolas Cage? That's what its about. having Sex with an individual, then killing them right afterwards.

Synopsis of the Documentary Snuff: Killing on Camera
quote:

Feature film examining the existence of films in which people are murdered on camera and the culture surrounding them. Through interviews with former FBI Profilers, Cultural Academics, and Film Historians the documentary delves into the disturbing history and myth of Snuff Films. The FBI claims there is no evidence to prove the existence of Snuff and, therefore, Snuff Films are a myth. This documentary analyzes the relationships between war, cult films, serial killers and pornography to prove whether or not this pervasive myth is, in fact, reality.

I almost stopped listening when she said "You cannot run a linear system on a finite planet indefinitely." WTF? Not a single part of that sentence is actually correct or even makes sense. Lern2math.

I did stop listening after her stupid tangential rant about defense budgets and when she said "It's the government's job to watch out for us and take care of us."

Ugh. How can you even call this a documentary? It's not even a crockumentary, it's just a grating diatribe full of claptrap. If she really spent 10 years on this then I feel sorry for her, but I have a feeling those 10 years weren't really spent on "research".
