Hi TOTA, I'm coming down to Toronto from Ottawa for the weekend of the 26th to the 28th. I'm looking to check out Circa on friday night and the Guv for Markus Schulz on Saturday night. I'm looking for any feed back on both clubs as well as I'm looking to do some shopping in the downtown area so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!!!!

they are both great clubs.
depending on your style, eaton's center, in terms of malls, would be your best bet.

Any little shops that sell skate clothing/shoes and non gangsta urban wear? Eaton's center I'll probably end up checking out anyways.

the quicksilver shop on queen street would probably be you best bet, though prices are high. circa isnt too strict on dress code at all, especially on friday nights. just wear pants and a shirt and you will get in.
guv... well uhhh, you could pretty much show up in a giant man diaper and flip flops and they would probably still let you in.

I've don't it
You have to go to Guv...simply because its a legendary club....not many clubs in NA have the staying power that Guv has.

If you're young and new to the club scene, go to Circa. If you know and appreciate your music, Guv.

Ya I've heard nothing but awesome things about both venues and I've been partying since 03 but have never made the trip to Toronto, its always been Montreal and honestly I'm sick of the bikers and strippers. Time for a change of scenery.
Thanks guys keep it coming!!!

quicksilver is definitely a good store for that on queen street (just east of peter street). another store that i really like for skate clothing is called So Hip It Hurts. it is just a little bit east of the quicksilver store and its on the second floor (first floor is a store called groovy). i bought my etnies there for $35 on sale (regular price was $120).

Thanks everybody, I knew there had to be some little shops kicking around that would have what I'm looking for. Any recommendations for restaurants in the area that are a decent price/not too fancy?
