Six years old and apparently in need of an update, it's back with some new mixes. Listening to the full ten minute version though, it only occurs to me now just how good this track is. 2002 feels a bit recent to deem a track a "classic" but I firmly believe this track is already a classic. One of those very rare house records where the quality was rewarded, it became a huge chart hit and it really deserved it. The piano chords are pure sex, Byrne's vocals are catchy without being cheesy and the whole track just bleeds class.
Was never a huge fan of Fatboy's remix though, and he's provided an update of his own mix.
That year was great for this kind if house in general I think. For clubby, vocal fun music, this is the kind of shit that should be played, not the cheese laden rubbish you usually hear at commercial clubs.
Moony - "Dove"
John Silver - "Come On Over"
Beginerz - "Reckless Girl"
2 Heads - "Out Of The City"
I haven't looked for a good year or so, but does anyone know where to find a high-quality version of the original version of "Lazy"?
The US release with more mixes can be found on amazon.com for about $1.50.

I hated this. Pure pop rubbish IMO. Compared to singles like 'Musikizum' or other album tracks like 'I want you back' 'Angel' or 'Call that love' it doesn't work for me. Always skip past it.

Curious to hear what they have done to update this track as I loved the original back in the day.

Where can I hear this (+mixes)? I've never heard of this before, but I am an absolutely huge David Byrne fan and have been going through a bit of a re-obsession with the Talking Heads lately.
