ColorBlind - Ecosteric Trance Remix (Counting Crows)

http://www.myspace.com/ecosterictrance

its the last song on my profile.
I make it a habit NOT to remix but I really loved the melody too much to not hear it dragged out & beaten to death in a trance track.

let me know!

so the pad starts
i rlly like it
the bassline and kick are pretty good, but that melo, kinda rare sax dont sound that good
good elements on your track, other...... not that good

try to find the elements that you like the most , and work more on them
sometimes less is more

Yeh the main problem I had at some points was getting the vocals from the original track w/out the instruments from the original track screwing things up. I tried to pick the least busy sections for the vocals, so that sax is prob where its coming from.

I agree I could have prob extracted something more refined but it was more my brothers gf saying "you should really try remixing colorblind" and I got bored with it too quick, like I usually do with remixes.
I still love the melody in the song, real simple and easy to play around with. Thanks!
