I've been practising for abt a week now and still, my mixing sucks. I'm learning to beatmatch but overall it sounds like crap. Does the bpm have to be the same or can u mix a house track into dnb?
Do u have to wait a certain moment in the song to mix or can u do it anytime?
etc...
Any suggestions?

i find the easiest cross genre mixing is hiphop to HHC
the search fuction is horrible so I don't like everyone telling me to search when it doesn't produce any good results...so fuck off, get a life and stop acting like the fucking internet police (not just u)!!!!

lol. it's so true. i can get away with not even bothering to beatmatch on CDJs. on the other hand, give me more time to play around with looping, sampling, layering and all that extra shijazz.
