He's talking about the massive housing bailout bill that just passed a couple of hours ago. And he's wrong. Unfortunately, the market is still weak following the passage and the credit markets are getting tighter. We may not have yet averted a massive problem.

It's being discussed in two other threads.

It was planned, IMO, but I don't really expect any of the coincidence theorists on this board to agree with me on that.
