I don't know if this is for everyone - I am using beatport on windows xp with firefox
anyways
when you buy tracks and then download them, beatport usually does not let you download them again after some time. they are available in the "re-download" section temporarily, but never forever
so
i found that if you download a full page of tracks from your "ready to download" page immediately after buying tracks, and then you click on the view 30 or 45 buttons, your tracks will remain forever "ready to download"
therefore you can download them again any time as long as you keep exploiting this bug

i've never used the "download all" feature before... how does that work? does it create one massive zip file?

Same here. I think the introduction of the download manager has caused this bug.

Cool... I use the "stays for a bit longer after you download" and my buddy just tells me when he buys tracks so i can download his and vice-versa.

If you're going to do that why don't you just pirate them?
Not saying theres anything wrong with it, but it seems like you could save some time waiting for your friend to pay for it and just find it on google.

I dunno because he buys them, so when he does he just gives me a call and i download the ones i like from his selection. Maybe its just safe feeling that they are from beatport and not some high quality rip.

Great. I hope when you pour your heart in to something, someone doesn't come along and steals it from you.
On subject, I found if you use the download manager to "download all", the tracks you have bought will remain in beatport (not the download manager app) as undownloaded.

There's piss all wrong with sharing a track or two with a friend. It's in a totally different league to file sharing on a grand scale.
The tracks I get of a friend of mine I'd never have found and paid for even if I'd tried.
