im working with an m-audio axiom 25 but am keeping my options open on different equp. to work w/

howdy

there is heaps of posts recent ones infact on computer setups, as for hardware look at studio pics you can get an idea from there in terms of what people use (see studio pic forums), and for hardware software synths ther ar lots, virus, roland, nord, as for vst's not to familiar with those. spend an hour doing searchs on the posts here oki doki

A MIDI controller? Really? That's all you're working with? Yeah, you probably should keep your options open if you expect to make any sound. You may want to consider a computer, some synthesizers (software or hardware), an audio card, some monitors or headphones, and a DAW/sequencer. That's what I use. I've heard that Deadmau5 uses the same setup.

Since I can't get my audio interface to work I have my TB-303 going into my computer's line-in and another synth I want to record going into its mix-in. If I want to use a different synth I have to switch leads to the TB-303.

This is very inconvenient and I wish I could get my Ultralite working with this computer.
