Teaser trailer for new Friday the 13th (great quality)...
Excitement reigns:
They really did a classy job with the new Jason, in my perspective. The existing photos show incomplete makeup, but it looks like they're going for a more stripped down, straightforward visual approach.
More importantly, it seems like they've done something with this one that doesn't resemble the same goofiness that pervaded throughout the later half of the FF13 series.
By the way, as I'm sure you noticed...JASON RUNS! He hasn't run since part 3, and that was a fine nod towards fans and followers of the series throughout the years. Goodbye mechanical and suspiciously efficient stomping.

I can never get into these "scary gory" movies.... they are not scary and they all seem to be the same.
Maybe its just me.

Gory movies in general don't seem to be scary. Saw: not scary at all.
Friday the 13th- tries to be scary, and stopped being scary a long, long time ago. But from what I've read over the past several weeks, I'm very optimistic about this one.

horror movies are marketed more towards young teenagers, so this is why they tend to be cheesy/not scary to us. There are still a few classics that are really scary no matter what age you are, but those are few and very far in between.
