Re: Mathijs vs. Sunquest - Untitled [BOM BOM BOM]

Mhh, I love this style, emotionnal uplifting...
I'm gonna be crazy , drums are perfect (you're right with the mastering, a bit overcomped but it's a choice), i love the melody and the main synth, but the guitar have too dist imo...
Nice work !

hehe yeah, way too much compression...

otherwise it's very good.. great melody, although i must admit i was expecting an extremely uplifting hands-in-the-air type of chord progression right at the end of the build-up. the way you guys built it up screams for something like that. instead the track just breaks down for a second before the main part comes in.

good stuff overall.

clap isn't really present

not sure what the is lead the pad or the sequenced melody? they are kinda pushing each other.

It explodes nicely and i disagree with TOR, this really can get the crowd going if this will get mixed nicely.

Of cource i have to hear the intro/buildup very important for these kinda tunes.

It's really bleh the production quality, but obviously it's a WIP so no biggie. Man, at 1:38 when the rhythm started again, it gave me goosebumps, haha, the hairs on my forearms stood up. :d Which means, I like it a lot.

This is my favorite track from you so far, that melody has the potential to be awesome if you work it right. Would be insane in the clubs.
