Lowland - Stains

Genre: Trance

The first time I heard this was in a liveset from Mr Mystery & I was very impressed by it. I hadn't actually heard it when it was new and it would've been late 2007, 2 years after it's release as a AA side for Orkidea - Beautiful vinyl on Unity Records. The melody is quite good and the breakdown sounds nice.

Lucid Dreamer - Lost Without You

Genre: Trance

Sample - [[ LINK REMOVED ]]

A hauntingly beautiful piano led tune from Steve Birch, someone who is either great or terrible in my experience. He released 2 albums in one year, the first under his own name was awful and really poor, but he released very soon after the Lucid Dreamer one on j00f and it was way better. This is a simple tune but very effective and imo quite brilliant.

Why do say that? I have missed these tunes myself and will look into them. Not strange imo.

Locked in Darkness and even Space Station from the Lucid Dreamer album are great. Steve outdid himself there.

I think Oxygen is one of the best tunes too. Needs playing at about 142-145bpm then it's awesome. Tibet Calling & Depature Lounge also rock from him, but were obviously after this album
