I’ve listened for the most part to the club Mix Cd, in both cd`s he still keeps the Sunlounger Summer sounds to it, some tracks do have a more electric guitar influence to it, I think a good variation to the more acoustic side which we`ve heard before.
Atm i`m more inclined to the instrumental tracks on the album, very Balearic, upbeat and has that “Sunlounger” feel to it. Sunny Tales and Catwalk being still some of my favs on the album. They were part of the early release tracks.
The vocal tracks are decent but not on par with the first album imo, I tend to get lost more in the background Sunlounger beats than paying more attention to the vocals. Zara from the first album lends her vocal talents this project once again. There`s also male vocals this time with the ‘Sunlounger Feat Cap & Steffa - Heart Of Sun´ track.
Another Day on the Terrace Vs Sunny Tales.. I think the first album would be better, it was a breath of fresh air at the time of its release , imo really capturing the Balearic side..
As I said atm i`m more disposed to the instrumental tracks, “Aguas Blancas” from the first album being one of my favourite tracks, haven’t had any tracks blow me away like that one did, though the instrumentals are still really good.
If you`re a Sunlounger fan you definitely gonna enjoy this project, as I mentioned the first album being better, with this album as a decent runner up especially from the instrumental side.
