You Know The Mccain Campain Is In Trouble When...

Even in Georgia there's a chance Barack Obama will end up with more votes!
Look at these numbers from these 2 polls:
http://www.electoral-vote.com/
http://news.yahoo.com/election/2008/dashboard

Obama has significantly reduced the gap between him and Mccain in Georgia to the point of only trailing John Mccain by 5 percent according to one poll, and a mere 2 percent (!!) in another poll. A week or two ago Mccain was clarly in the lead with more then 10 percentage points.
Obama is now also in the lead in Indiana after weeks of trailing Mccain by 4 percentage points.
Barack Obama is also in the lead in North Carolina, and tied with Mccain in states such as North Dakota and Montana. Even South Dakota isnt as red as it was a few weeks ago.
In many of the states the polls show that Obama will already get more votes then John Kerry did in 2004. 65 percent of New Yorkers are likely to vote for Obama. Folks, even Clinton and Gore didn't see those kinds of numbers.
In Palin's home state of Alaska you'll notice that 40 percent are pulling for Obama, and it seems like Alska will be trending more and more towards the Democratic party in the coming elections (Kerry only got 35 percent, and Clinton even less).
In Texas Obama may not win the majority of the votes, but at least they may be as good as Clinton's were in 96 (44 percent of the votes).
There's still a lot of undecided voters in Arkansas, folks who usually vote for Obama and are still hesitant to vote for a black president.

Have you completely changed your political views? Last time you were here, you were the staunchest Bush regime apologist.

Krypton, go back and read my posts.
Yes, I defended Bush and the Republicans on SOME issues, but you may also recall that I was rooting for Hillary in the generaly elections. Well, it's down to Obama vs. Mccain, and as someone whose political views tend to lean Democratic anyways it was a no brainer for me to decide on who to go with.
Now if it was Rudi Guilliani and Mitt Romney it would have probably taken me a little while longer to make up my mind. That's b/c I've great respect for Rudi's work as mayor of New York, and great respect for Mitt's abilities economically (though he's way too conservative for me on social issues).

As someone who will be completing my MBA by this summer I'm disgusted by the likes of Sarah Palin: she's dumb, she's a hypocrite, doesnt know the definition of change, an alarmist, a racist, and wayyyy wayyy wayyyyyyyyyyyyy too conservative.

Furthermore, I am impressed with Obama's calm but firm responses to attacks from his opponents, and for sticking by his message and plans for America. He's someone whose shown me that he genuinely cares about others, about this country, and is willing to keep an open mind as far as how to resolve the numerous issues plaguing our society. He is a bit naive and an idealist on some matters, but that's not necessarily a bad thing - he hasnt been corrupted by Washington, he brings a new and fresh perspective to the table, and he's someonew who will sorround himself with some of the brightest advisors Washington has seen in a long time.

One last thing. I plan on trying to go and vote early before November 4th. Hopefully I'll have time on Monday to go and cast my vote.

Alright everyone, I highly recommend that you go and vote early if you can. I stood in line for only 5-10 minutes. The whole process was fast, efficient, and painless. And yes, I voted for Obama and Biden

Oh, just noticed that in some polls right now it looks like the race is tightening in...Arizona
http://www.electoral-vote.com/

Obama is actually not far behind Mccain in Mccain's home state. We'll see if this data will be reflected in other polls released today or tommorow

He's actually up in early voting, and the last three polls there have only had McCain up by 2-5 points. If Obama had invested any time or money in the state at all, he probably could have flipped it.
