Phil Langham - Journey Through Trance 205

REVIEW : Slightly down tempo edition, this week, and i must admit, one of my more stronger productions.Starting off with Swiss progressive house act,Dinka, and then onto a track that everybody will know, here in Blake Jarrel remix - Snow Patrols 'chasing cars' It seems ages ago that the Luke Terry remake was out,but now it seems there is a CD with loads of dance versions of this track, including one by Tiesto.Stoke On Trent product - Andy Moor gives his usual high standard, teaming up with Carrie Skipper for 'so much more' More Swiss action with Gregg Puppa's 'falling' with great male voals.Seems to be alot more male sung trance nowadays,as the Trance styles divert down different sub genre's,but i still think the Justine Suissa's & Tiff Lacey's of this world are hard to beat.British artist Mohawk remixes Blenbranks 'synthetic symphony' then Tiff Lacey appears yet AGAIN singing on 'new york airport' (shades of 'New York City' by PVD?) Ferry Corsten crashes back on the scene with 'radio crash',a quiet unique sounding track and there are plenty of vocal beauties on this edition, the ones that stand up for me are Meighan Naelon singing for Ashley Wallbridge, and the excellant 'cygnes' by Frenchman Mr Sam.Both these two tracks stray away from full on vocal verses, instead giving us Stutterin high pitch snippets that blend in well with the overall style of production, excellant.Julie Thompson,Shelly Harland also feature on this edition, the latter has a Mike Foyle remix and is quiet superb, and dare i say it,we nearly cross over to Proggressive house,on a couple of tracks but i managed to keep it,just the right side of the wall! Other top tunes include the Excellant Heatbeat,a slightly old track,in Tatana's 'spring breeze' and a bit of an oddity with Chimera States 'serenity' ,a pan piped blown affair which kind of blends in nicely with the overall relaxing atmosphere of this edition. So id say this episode is one for a Sunday Morning or for those in a reflective mood Enjoy..........Филип
