A good friend of mine lived there for 8 years. Said it was great. Find an expat bar and hang out (no liquor across the causeway in Saudi so lots of expats come over for fun on the weekends).

theres nothing extraordinary to heck out really...last time i was there was back in 94...who knows if somethings come up...might wanna check this out: http://www.bahrain-tourism.com/
I have been there its a nice fun place to be just like dubai and the whole country is soo big that you can see every thing in one day LOL I mean it only has three cities......Its not like saudi arabia where theres no bars or women cant drive lots of foreigners there as well.

Yeah I'd imagine that. The skyline and the malls have changed in Dubai here since i last visited from what i see almost 8 yrs ago. But other than that most if it is still the same intact.

Theres nothing special at all about bahrain. I used go there a lot for random weekends when I was living in Kuwait. The people are nicer though and much more relaxed than qatar or the uae for example. A lot of foreigners though, or it just seems that way because the country is tiny.
