Ive been trying to record my sets to a laptop but I have no luck so far"
My Setup:
Pioneer CDj800m2 x 2
Pioneer DJM-400 Mixer
HP Pavilion Laptop $1.600 priced
Gigaport AG External Audio Card
Ive read all the forums and tried all possible solutions. I kinda think its my GIGAPort AG but I think I am doing something wrong.
Please help!!

umm. How are you connecting your laptop to your mixer? Just plug in a RCA cable to the output of your mixer and the line input i think into your soundcard. I use audacity for a recording program. It works and its free.

I am trying to use Gigaport AG with 8 channels output, I am not sure how everything should look like. I really dont want to use my laptops soundcard and use my external one. It seems like there is no recording input for my card. I will try to take a picture of my setup and link it if it helps.

Ya you should be able to use your external soundcard, as long as it has the right inputs. Def take some pictures, then we will probably be able to notice the problem right away.
